The 2021 LIG PhD 2nd year day will take place on April 29th, 2021.

This yearly event is a joyful and significant moment in the LIG life. You will meet and discuss your on-going projects with all 2nd year PhD students and senior researchers.
This year (hello COVID) it will be held remotely. But forget all that you know about viso-conferences, to spice things up we will use Gather (https://gather.town/).
During the LIG PhD day, all 2nd year PhD students will present their work via a poster and a "2-minutes madness" session. A "2-minutes madness" is a format in which PhD students present their work in a 2-minutes talk.
Presentations will be public, and a jury formed by several lab members will reward the three best presentations.
The programm
9:00am - 9:30am: welcome of all participants on Gather / welcome form the LIG direction / a few words from Vania and Alix.
9:30am - 11:15am: 2-minutes madness session, each PhD student will have 2 minutes to expose her topic*.
11:15am - 12:00pm: jury deliberation and announcement of the top three presentations.
12:00pm - 1:00pm: lunch break.
1:00pm - 4:30pm: discussion, poster, virtual coffee - everything like a real conference :)
4:30pm - 5:00pm: feedback and closing words
